Kraken Promos is a powerful tool designed to keep your promotions organized and visible exactly when and where you need them. From scheduling seasonal deals to featuring special events, the plugin makes promotion management simple, flexible, and effective.
Promotion Management
- Store, schedule, and remove promos as they come and go throughout the year.
- Start date ensures promos only appear at the right time.
- Expiry date ensures promos are automatically removed when they’re over.
- Note: Expiry is required. For permanent promotions, the expiry date must be periodically updated.
Sorting & Display
Sort promos with an easy drag-and-drop interface within their assigned promo type.
Display all promos at once or filter by type. (Note: sort order only applies within a single promo type.)
Promo Types (Categories)
- Create custom promo types to group and display promotions across your website.
- Assign promos to multiple types at once for maximum visibility.
- Examples:
- A “Featured” type to showcase promos on the homepage.
- A “Dining” type to highlight promos on a dining page.
Customizable Promo Content
Each promotion includes detail fields to communicate clearly with customers, each of which can be made visible or hidden depending on where/how you’re using them:

Image Display Options
Promos support multiple image aspect ratios for maximum flexibility:
- 1:1 – Square
- 3:4 – Portrait
- 4:3 – Landscape
- 9:16 – Tall Portrait
- 16:9 – Wide Landscape
For best performance, upload high-quality images (recommended: 1920px by 1979px, WEBP format) and keep file sizes under 300KB.
Featured Promotions
This is the Kraken Promos plugin block displayed using the Grid Layout. This layout can have 2 – 4 columns, it can display all promos, or promos of specific types/categories, it has options to turn each individual detail field on or off, and comes with the standard content width options (none, wide width, and full width).
