The motion found on this page was done using the FREE version of Scrollsequence for WordPress. This plugin makes video scroll magic easy, and some beneficial features include:

How It Works

You take a stock video, or one provided by the client, and extract frames using VLC. After, editing and optimizing these frames, you can import them into the Scrollsequence plugin and create your sequence. Once complete, you simply add the sequence to a page using shortcode.

Once you’ve placed your shortcode, your webpage should show your new sequence which, as you scroll down the page, will play as if it’s a video. When you scroll down, the sequence animates forward, and when you scroll back up, the animation should reverse.

Scrollsequence PRO

Scrollsequence PRO is the paid version of this plugin and it unlock several more features within this tool like animations and additional scale and alignment settings.

For example, you would need to purchase PRO in order to animate the text content within the sequence.

Limitations

Since these sequence are generally made up for dozens of images at a time, sometimes up to 100 images, which requires you to load up your media library. The sequence here is compiled of 45 individual images.

Additionally, although this plugin is advertised to be 100% mobile friendly, this seems to have MAJOR mobile limitations…
